Barcaldine's May Day March and Procession

The May Day Committee invites everyone – young, old, children, adults, sporting organizations, businesses, hospital and schools to enter and nominate a float in the May Day Procession.

Prizes available for:

• Best Decorated Float
• Best Decorated Business Float
• Most Original Float
• Most Humorous Float
• Best Sporting Float
• Best May Day Theme Float
• Best Decorated Animal or Animal Drawn
• Best Decorated Bicycle or Scooter for Boys or Girls
• Special Awards for Children
• May Day Princess
• 50 yard dash - primary school student boy/girl
• 100 yard dash - secondary school student male/female
• 100 yard dash - adults male/female

Program:

9.30am    Assemble Cnr Ash and Willow Streets
10.00am  Procession to commence
Conclude at the Showgrounds
